Who We Are
Community Action for Literacy and Learning, known as CALL, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization proudly registered in Westchester, NY. Our organization is dedicated to fostering positive change in Haitian communities by championing the causes of literacy and education. At CALL, we recognize that education is the foundation for sustainable growth and opportunity, and we are committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of children and families.
A Team Of Passionate Individuals
CALL is run by a team of passionate individuals who share a unified vision for a brighter future in Haiti. Each member of our team brings a unique set of skills and experiences, but we are all connected by a common purpose: to open doors through literacy and learning. Our collective efforts are fueled by a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of education.
Our Mission
Our mission is clear and unwavering-to change lives in Haitian communities by providing access to quality education. We work closely with local partners, schools, and community leaders to identify the most pressing needs and to implement programs that truly make a difference. From providing essential school supplies to supporting teacher training, every initiative is designed to create lasting, positive impact.
Supporting Education and Student Well-Being
CALL's programs extend beyond the classroom, addressing the broader needs that influence a child's ability to learn. We support school lunch programs to ensure that students have the nutrition they need to focus and thrive. By investing in both educational resources and the well-being of students, we help remove barriers to learning and set the stage for academic success.
Driven by Compassion, Guided by Transparency
Our impact is only possible because of the compassion and commitment of supporters like you. We are dedicated to transparency and accountability, ensuring that every donation goes directly toward programs that benefit students. Your gift helps us break the cycle of poverty through education and gives Haitian children the opportunities they deserve.
